About City Wide Taxis

City Wide Taxis started in 1986 our first office was situated in the Portsmouth Tricorn shopping centre, and in 1996 we re-located to Portsmouth "The Hard" opposite the Gunwharf Quays shopping centre and the Spinnaker Tower.

We are a co-operative of 21 owners, many of which have 30 to 40 years experience in the taxi industry. We operate as a non profit making society and we have a fleet of 90+ vehicles, which consist of four seater saloon cars and 5/6/7/8 seater vehicles, all of which are available for hire and for Airports. Making us one of the largest Private Hire companies in Portsmouth.

We believe we offer a genuine choice for people requiring a taxi in Portsmouth and always try to treat our customers as we would like to be treated ourselves.

Bookings take priority to passing trade and we make a real attempt to get your taxi to you on time.

We accept travel tokens, Visa & Mastercard credit cards. Business accounts facilities are also available.
